    ECU Remapping

A professional ECU remap can change the way your car feels on the road. By carefully adjusting the software that controls the engine, we can improve power delivery, increase usable torque and sharpen throttle response without changing the engine itself.

Modern engines are controlled by an ECU that manages fuel delivery, boost pressure, ignition timing, torque limits and many other parameters. Manufacturers often leave considerable operating margins within the original calibration. A properly developed remap can optimise these settings to make better use of the engine’s available performance while keeping the calibration appropriate for the vehicle.

Before carrying out tuning work, we check the vehicle for relevant faults and assess whether it is suitable for remapping. The software is then selected and calibrated according to the engine, vehicle condition and the type of driving the customer wants from it.

Depending on the vehicle, our performance tuning services can focus on:

    • More power and torque
    • Sharper throttle response
    • Stronger mid-range performance
    • Smoother power delivery
    • Economy-focused calibration

Whether you are looking for a Stage 1 remap, diesel tuning, petrol performance tuning or simply want your car to feel more responsive, we can advise on the most suitable option.

    Tuning Built Around Your Car

Every vehicle is different. Engine type, mileage, condition, transmission and existing modifications all affect what can sensibly be achieved, which is why we do not treat remapping as a one-size-fits-all service.

Our work includes ECU remapping, chip tuning, engine tuning, diagnostics and related performance services for a wide range of cars and vans. Where appropriate, tuning can provide stronger acceleration and additional torque while economy-oriented calibration may also help reduce fuel consumption during normal driving.

A good remap is about more than chasing headline power figures. The aim is to improve how the vehicle delivers its performance: stronger response when accelerating, more useful torque through the rev range and smoother, more predictable power delivery.

Oil is the lifeblood of your engine. It reduces friction, lessens wear, provides lubrication, forms a seal between the pistons, rings and cylinder walls while helping to cool engine parts. Without the cleaning action of new oil, carbon and varnish buildup would be toxic to the engine. And engine oil even dampens the shock and noise of moving parts.
